We purchased La Grange Ancienne in July 2005, which as the time was a barn with a small house attached to the side and was owned by an elderly couple who lived here for many years.   For the first 3 years we frequently visited France to work on our barn, which included renewing the roof, creating two bedrooms to the rear of the property etc.   We finally took the plunge and moved to France in July 2008 and from then on have managed to finish the renovation work on our home, although we are still in the process of landscaping the garden to the rear of the property.

We are no strangers to renovating property in France, having previously purchased a Mill House in Confolens in August 2002.  Fortunately Andrew is a builder and therefore we have been able to do all of the work ourselves.

On a achete La Grange Ancienne en juillet 2005, a cette epoque elle etait une ferme pour les vaches.   On a renove la maison et on a quitte Angleterre en 2008 pour qu l'on puisse habiter en France.
